Shipping large boxes the right way

What should you pack in a box?
Your furniture and appliances should be crated or blanket wrapped. For everything else, packing and shipping your belongings in large boxes is the safest way to transport your goods. This includes:
•   Clothes
•   Dishes
•   Pots & Pans
•   Knick Knacks
•   Small pieces of furniture, such as end tables

How do you choose the right box?
Using the right box is essential for keeping your items safe during transport. Follow these tips when choosing and packing boxes:
•   Purchase new boxes for fragile or valuable items. Used boxes are more likely to tear.
•   Sturdy used boxes can be used for soft, unbreakable items like clothes or linens.
•   Don’t use boxes that are too large. Empty space allows your items to shift during transit and may cause damage. If your boxes are too large, use clothing, linens, packing paper, or bubble wrap to fill empty spaces.
•   Make sure you use heavy-duty double-walled boxes for large, fragile, and heavy items.

Crate shipping services

Crating offers maximum protection during shipment. If you’re shipping fragile or valuable items, crating can help keep them safer than sturdy cardboard boxes. Some items you may need to crate prior to shipment include:
•  Statues
•  Dollhouses
•  Artwork
•  Curio Cabinets
•  Grandfather clocks
You may also need to crate items with marble or glass details.

I am totally satisfied with service provided. The process was very easy, from my initial contact to delivery. I couldn't have asked better and hands on Service. My deceased Mother's china cabinet made it safely and without damage from North Louisiana to South Louisiana. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Interstate Moving Made Easy

Only 4 of the 6 items were delivered on the initial scheduled date. It took almost a week to locate and reschedule a delivery for the missed items, arriving 12 days after the original date. Overall, I'd rate TSI 8 out of 10!

Late Delivery, Good Service.

I was impressed with Corey and his partner as they delivered and moved in the furniture and put the table back together. My sister was impressed with the movers that picked up the furniture. 2 items, brown protective bags that the dining table leaves were stored in, were not delivered. Corey remembers seeing them in the warehouse, but nobody knew whose they were and what they were. However, it is no longer a problem, because they were delivered on a later truck. I don't really understand why the leaves were ever taken out of the storage bags, because they are for protection, but it doesn't matter now. I'm satisfied, and didn't mark anything being lost for the earlier question on this survey.
