FAQ #2: How fast can I get my items where they need to go?

Boxed and crated items require 3-7 business days.

Air freight can be completed overnight. Economy takes 2-4 days.

Furniture usually requires 1-2 weeks for pickup and an additional 1-2 weeks for delivery.  

International shipments require 4-8 weeks.

FAQ #3: How can I ship boxes?

Freight service is a fast and affordable way to ship large boxes of household items, clothes, and all kinds of stuff. It’s the lowest cost service we offer, going anywhere in the continental US in 3 to 7 business days. For your convenience, we offer same or next-day pickup from a business, residence, or storage facility.
 

FAQ #4: How can I move furniture or large household items?

TSI can move furniture and large household items at competitive rates. A two man moving crew prepares your items for shipment and provides inside pickup and delivery. Get a quote now to see how much you can save. 
 

FAQ #5: What is the most affordable way to ship furniture?

The most affordable way to ship furniture is to box or crate and ship via freight.
We understand that may not be practical for many people. We recommend our standard furniture shipping service. You get a two man moving crew to prepare the furniture for transport. You also receive inside pickup and delivery.
 

FAQ #6: Do I have to pack?

No, our White Glove service is perfect for people who don’t want to pack. However, we recommend packing boxes yourself. It’s not cost effective if you don’t.
If you choose our Economy option you must pack everything yourself. Use our tips for packing to make sure your goods are prepared for transport.
 

FAQ #7: How are moves priced?

Small moves are usually priced based on weight and dimension. We can help you with those estimates.
Larger moves are usually priced by volume, that is, linear or cubic feet. If we can’t get an accurate estimate, we may recommend an on-site estimate.
 

FAQ #8: How and when do you accept payment?

Small moves, freight shipments, international shipments: Payment is due when the shipment is booked. We accept checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
Long-distance (full household) moves: Payment options depend on type of service. Call a moving specialist at 1-800-626-1257 to learn more.
 

FAQ #9: How can I cancel a move or shipment?

You can cancel a move or shipment any time before pickup. Be aware a cancellation fee may be incurred.
