Cherished Items Successfully Shipped Across Country
I needed a (sentimental) rocking chair (35 lbs) moved from Baltimore MD to San Diego CA. The sales representative was responsive and informative throughout the transaction.
The movers picked up as scheduled. The movers contacted me within 2 weeks to pick the chair up. Booties and masks were worn when entering my home. I was told that the chair would arrive the first week of December. The chair arrived in San Diego as scheduled. The recipient was notified about 1 week prior with the delivery date. Again professionalism at the top of the scale.

Everything went very smoothly and my items arrived unscathed. The delivery person who came to the destination drop off even worked around the fact that I couldn't meet him at the originally expected time due to my serious reaction to a bee sting...I had to go to the emergency room! Flawless Delivery Of Boxed Items
I've never shipped furniture before, and I was very apprehensive after all the furniture-moving disaster stories I've heard recently. But TSI was easy to work with, very communicative, and did an excellent job. What a relief to have my cousin say, from rural New York State, that our great-grandmother's bed arrived in perfect condition!

Have used TSI a few times. What a wonderful concept to get any item from anywhere in the country. I have found unique furniture on ebay and TSI is the only way to get it delivered. You have to wait a couple weeks or so until they accumulate all the "small moves" and get it to you, but it is worth the wait in order to own fabulous finds. It is considered "white glove service", so they do all the packing/unpacking on both ends. Phone reps who took order always friendly, available and helpful. Delivery guys pleasant and professional.
