Kitchen Pantry (4 hours)
Remove all items, check expiration dates on products, discard as appropriate and sort items for convenience. Organize space with items grouped by category (e.g. baking/snacks/canned goods/sauces/condiments).
Kitchen Cabinets (4-8 hours)
Clean out cabinets and create a logical storage system. Place glasses, plates, bowls, and silverware based on large appliance layout. Organize cookware by usage and re-home it along with small appliances to be easily accessible for your cooking habits. Ensure storage containers have lids and store neatly.
Bedroom Closet (4-6 hours)
Remove miscellaneous items (luggage, memorabilia) that get tucked away to be out of sight. Remove dated clothing and shoes to donate or discard. Re-organize clothes; can be based on outfits, colors, seasonal, categories, etc. Store accessories, shoes, and other items on shelves or in bins. Find a storage location for random items.
Playroom (8 hours)
Start from scratch and create a place for everything based on your kids’ interests! Go through all items. Throw out what is broken. Eliminate things the kids have outgrown or no longer enjoy. Create an age-appropriate system that keeps the space tidy and inviting, and encourages children to imagine, learn, grow – and clean up after themselves!
