Yes, some moving companies (including TSI) will move one piece of furniture. Do I need to be present for pickup and delivery?

Our shipping solutions for estate distribution include inside pickup and delivery, so someone will need to be present on both ends of transport.

Does TSI offer packing services for estate distributions?

Yes! We can help you pack boxes, furniture and your sentimental items before shipping. In addition, we offer unpacking services for when they reach their new destination. Depending on the service selected, packing may be included, or it might require an additional fee.

What is TSI's service area for estate moving services?

What is the average timeline for long-distance estate moves with TSI?

TSI has two service options for estate distributions and each have a different timeline:
1.) With Consolidated White Glove service, we consolidate your items with others going in the same direction. It can take up to 15 business days for pickup and 20 additional business days for delivery. If your pickup and delivery destinations are in well-traveled areas, this timeline could be much quicker. We also offer priority pickup options with this service.
2.) Our Full Service Expedited service is ideal when you have a more significant number of items, such as when you are distributing an estate. Pickup is usually within 3-5 business days and delivery within 5 days after that.

What items can be included in estate moves?

Estate moves with TSI commonly include furniture, boxes packed with household goods, artwork, antiques, and sentimental items. Your specialist will discuss your inventory to select the service that matches your needs. For safety and legal reasons certain things like hazardous materials, hot tubs, illegal items, perishables, living things, etc. can not be shipped with TSI.
