What’s the easiest way to ship boxes?
TSI introduced our Box-and-Ship solutions to answer this question. We’ve been shipping boxes and much more for over 30 years. Now with this turnkey solution, you have the convenience of having empty boxes shipped to your door for you to pack and label. Once the boxes are ready, we pick them up transport them to your destination. You don’t need to leave your property! Insurance is included, and our Platinum plan even includes up to 30 days of storage.
How long does it take to receive my empty boxes?
We will reach out to confirm your order and get your supplies scheduled. Typically they will ship within one business day and arrive 2-4 business days after that.
How long does it take for boxes to be delivered once they are packed and picked up?
Our box shipping usually takes 5 business days or less for delivery. It will be less or more within that range depending on the delivery location.
How much can I pack in each box?
Each box is 18"x14"x12", and there is a 40 pound weight limit per box. The amount you will be able to fit will vary greatly based on the size and weight of the items. For example, books are much heavier than clothes. Be sure to pack items carefully for transport. You can get some tips here.
What happens if my items get damaged?
TSI has a great record of undamaged shipments. However, things can happen. Each of our service level options comes with insurance included (different amount for each option); certain steps must be taken for that insurance to be valid. We may require proof of purchase documentation to confirm the value of the damaged item(s). If a box arrives damaged, please take thorough photos of each side of the damaged box including the shipping label prior to opening the box as well as photos of the damaged item inside the box once it's opened. You must keep the damaged packaging and item for the duration of a claim as the provider may opt to pick them up for inspection. Call TSI within 48 hours of delivery to report damages. If items inside are damaged but the box has no damage, items will not be covered, as that results from a packing issue.
